How to set up the server?

So i am setting up a mangos server that i can play around on..

I got the maps, vmaps, and dcb

But i dont find any SQL and have no clue on what to do

any of u can make me a little guide?

Then i came to this.. NO clue what to write inn... Il be glad for some help

So... i just wrote inn some shit And now i have gotten this far:

So.. i tryed to start the realmd and this happend:

There might be more that i need to do? Im todaly newb on this...

Installed it but still happens... Any other ideas? may i have done something wrong whit the SQL?

Well, yesterday i installed x86....

Today i installed x64

I got a x64 oprative system Windows 7

So i kinda got bouth installed..?

Anyways they are installed

I went to controll pannel i got it installed:

But i got dam many versions... Might un-install the old ones and re-install new?

Hey,

Just updated the download to release instead of debug, seems people without visual studio installed would not of been able to run the debug version.

Try redownloading the .zip from the download section and running the server files from that.

Sooo i did download the new .zip

Installed the databace (THINK i dident do anything wrong)

So i was going to start the realmd.exe but this showed up:

As you can see i copied the conf file and removed .dist just to see if it helped but dident... And i doing something really wrong?

Edit: server folder is located at: C:\AAanchent\/ then all the files inn the .rar i downloaded come. like database, server, ClientMapExtractors, text files

Have you got skype? add me xmark202 and i'll take a quick look.

Edit: Looks like there is still a hidden extension on the end of .conf

Try doing this first and see if it shows the hidden .in - Showing or hiding file name extensions - Windows Help
