yes , it was a warning but it didn't let me do anything, it was stuck at that warning.

for some reason when i put the new vmap_extractor3.exe in my wow folder and i try to extract them , it remains static at the kalimdor map , it says that it has size 0 , im using win 7 -x86

well if you want random players you should get playerbot , it will emulate real players,look on to the playerbot thread,if you need help,blueboy project collaborator will answer

its working for almost any maps , i don't know if adding a gameobject to the world will affect the mmaps ,it works for all things that are in that area/map

indeed unklenuke , stability is crucial but you can't hold a bug that is hunting mangos since wotlk was on(like almost 2 years)it must be at least if not fully blizzlike scripted,just to satisfy the player with a resonable blizzlikenss,since all servers are known to fail in deathknights(except trinity based ones).

i don't understand , you should do a git clone git://github.com/mangos/mangos.git , then cd mangos, then simply pull the player bot branch git://github.com/blueboy/mangos.git master it works 100% for me on windows , as i know linux/ubuntu has the same commands

Ok you mean if you dont have a someone for create a good makefile for linux ,we can't use the mmaps? or i compile the generator on windowsand generate mmaps and i put them on the core ? But how the core recognize the mmaps?

when you pull the mmaps branch it adds some informations about them in the .cpp files ,it will detect mmaps automaticly after compile

also you can make a .bat file , just open up notepad , type this in :

then save it as a .bat file and put it in your mangos server directory

i see cameras working ok and eye of acherus is ok too , give me an argument to sugest that it is not blizzlike king48488.

the developers won't apply it to the master branch ,it needs to be 100% stable ,thats the way it will get there and hopefully soon.

no problem, also the trinity Eye of Acherus has the cameras working 100% , mangos should have a look there .

personally having seen playerbot when it was on its original repo and then matching it to current playerbot I would say blueboy has taken a very buggy and rudimentary structure and made something real and quite promising from it... i think sometimes people see a modification project and they see how advanced it might be and then just get itchy and want to know why it isnt perfect not realizing that it was never meant to be in the game in the first place.. like the ppl who complain about AHBOT or even something as simple as allow.two.side interaction. these modifications are NOT blizzy, you wouldnt be able to use any of them on real servers (even ahbot in that the ahbot allows you to go to ANY ah and they are all technically the same ah..)
but thats going to happen, remember ignorance is bliss, but only to the ignorant... the rest of us have to deal with the headaches that come of it...lol
well that was a quite long response , i think we all know that playerbot is a non-blizzlike addon/patch or whatever for mangos , but i think i was created for low-population servers to help players keep growing

yes i agree with you prmsye ,mangos has occured this issue for some time , i don't know why but i would like to see it working like the one on trinitycore does,also as it is said in the mangos documentation , mangos is a learning project ,i guess you have to learn c++ and modify your core how ever you want .

modifiing the client is not a core modification , you are modifing the dbc files which is from your wow client , it is like modifing a part of the game , it is considered ilegal/or not accepted on these forums i guess

even vmap_rerite or mmaps on theyre own have errors with the other core mods
