i think you should wait ... updating the core from rev 2 rev takes a while

i forgot to mention that the idea with implementing spells for bots in sql is very handy.... compiling the core over and over takes a lot of time compared with inserting some new values into sql.. sorry mrelfire for being rushy with the dectection thing ... i was 2 intrested in it lol

it works with 9570 fine, just compiled

i think we should focus on the "detection" thingy for the moment , it is a quite intresting option

just modify the db and colums to be read an it should work with no problems

note it worked pefrectly for rev 9564 ... dont know for the lastest rev

I think that C++ is more difficult to learn that sql just because in WoW for example you have to know what are you doing with the commands ( i mean to know what command to use for flying for example,opening a gate etc.) the lack of those who know C++ here is just because as I said it takes a lot of time to learn... you will need professional studies too

i dont think mangos is supporting beta versions ... only fully operational versions and by the way i think you posted in the wrong section

the patch works fine, too bad that the repo isnt upadated but patches will do no error on compiling the core with the patch traponinet made so try using patch < -p1 nameofpatch.patch

how do we actually use this ? i mean , ok i update it compiled and then what ?? do we need some program to extract some data from the maps and after to put viewer and generate.exe in some folder ?

excelent patch skinlayers.... the repo worked but with conflicts in mangosd.conf .. but now it works properly

just update your mangos to the lastest rev and it will work , there were some core modifications i guess so thats why older version no longer work

- Suggestion 2 Making bots automount themselves + the ability to detect quest objects and others... i may think that a command like .bot open object could do Not in suggestion: it would be alot easyer if someone could teach us c++ for game scripting ... i know 2 little

but when i try to put ahbot on mangos+vehicle+playerbot+dualspec it says that it will overwerite level13.cpp and it will abort lol

if you can do the object "detecting" part as i said a few posts ago it will be a gigantic improvement for me to the playerbot patch

seems that it works with the lastest rev , only you have to delete some line ins mangos.conf.dist.in, lines that have "<<<<"

i think there were some changes from rev 9469 in the code.. so i suggest updating it or wait for help
