Well my point in all of this is to make the patches compatible with everything. using patch -p1 < PATCHFILE works i know but it skips the errors found when using git apply. So that is what i work with this patches, a compatible way so you can use either git apply, patch or anything else.

Am learning how to use git so this is like my first work on creating patches.

They are really very obvious since they are everywhere in the forum. But anyway i put some help there.

Can anybody tell me if after using this patch the Death Bug is gone forever?

Wow excellent idea. I normally clean my DB of old characters every 60 days. But this a nice idea to control the amount of players and guid that actually play.

Bump to make noticed that i have the same problem and this fixed the problem.

You know what, you probably are right. Am going to reinstall ubuntu again to test your idea. Will let you know how it went and what actually changed that if i find this bug again. Thanks Vladimir.

ok i actually deleted everything. from final mangos destination. Then i compiled again with the information above. No luck. The console is not appearing. I deleted even both, the place where mangos was suppose to go like /opt/nangos and the place where i was compiling it so there would not be anything before.

Still console problem without the suggested changes. Any other ideas that might help? I did clean install and update install, both did not work.

So anybody can shed some light here. The above is the way i compile my mangos. It has always work great until about 50 revs ago. What should i change or do to make the console work again.

Which patch should i use or a git patch format to use to be 100% sure this will not happen.
