vBulletin's ignore system is a joke, and does very little.

I reported the post and PM, so hopefully its dealt with.

Installation:

1. Add this line to your config.php:

define('DISABLE_PASSWORD_CLEARING', true);

2. Import product via AdminCP.

3. Navigate to Plugin Manager, and search for "Mangos Registration Bridge".

4. Edit "Mangos Registration Bridge: Execute helper script for password change" and "Mangos Registration Bridge:

Execute helper script to make new user on emulator".

//change this to be your mangos/trinity server info

mysql_connect("127.0.0.1","username","password");

Change the quoted code to reflect your server address, MySQL username, and MySQL password.

4. Optional: Modify mangos_realmd to reflect your realmd database.

Support:

Support will only be given on the Mangos forums, though support is basically limited to feature requests.

Q: Are we supporting Trinity?

A: We will give -minimal- support to Trinity. The current version of the product works fine with Mangos and Trinity, and we do not see that changing.

Q: Will we release a version for vB4?

A: According to the developers I've talked to, other than templates, our product should work. As this product is for registration only, there should be no problems.

Due to time constraints, my web developer hasn't had much time to put into this (This wasn't our largest priority).

Re-Download it, as I updated a version that will support up to 5.0.

Just tested this today, works good with creation of account is considered.

I checked with this, making a same account name, that is present in older realmd database, as i know, same vb forum name is automatically checked by vb and duplicate names are not allowed, however incase of realmd same account name, it dosnt work, the account gets created on forums, but it donot give error, and replaces the old user's password with the new one..

Desu what to do if your users are already registered on the forum? Is there the possibility of adding these users to the database? (With names and passwords forums). As the desire to conclude the template postbit_ name of the character and his faction (which was taken from the database).

Add the account name manually, and have them change pass. It'll change password for them.

The rest of our integration is probably not going to be released, as a lot of it is created to be just for our server.

There weren't any changes to the files, and it should work fine using the plugin and hook system, but we'll look into it.

If IB doesn't change their ways before vB5 I'll switch our servers forums to another software. I'm very disappointed in IB and I've been a vB user since 2.x came out almost 8 years ago. The CMS is a joke, Blogs aren't used and the forums are a new design on the old 3.8 code with massive amounts of bugs. They forced release out with thousands of bugs and made the code "gold" when it shouldn't have.

My main issue is that they don't allow older styles to be used. I spent close to $300-400 on designs on one forum, and if I upgrade (which I'll need to do, as I get attacked by script kiddies about once a week), I'll have to convert them myself, or pay for it to be done.

Theres SOME good points, the template system IS nice, but the default design is garbage.
