Extract of Maps, DBC, VMaps Failure

Greetings. I downloaded the latest Mangos Three compiled server from MadMax post.

I have Cataclysm 4.3.4 (15595) in a folder on my desktop. I have a windows 7 64 bit machine with over 4 GB ram.

I followed the instructions in the readme and copied the extractor files to the client directory. I have run Git Bash, terminal, terminal as administrator and have had the same errors.

Ad.EXE stops working (although it appeared the DBC extracted as the folder is full of stuff)

Maps directory never creates

VMaps then fails as well with errors saying the directory doesn't exist.

I am guessing since Ad.EXE fails/stops working that the daisy chain of events fails.

Am I doing something wrong? I could be a id10T error but I have checked the forum and tried administrator on the terminal, running the extractor all at once, in pieces (meaning just the DBC and maps first)...same problem.

Happy to try something, just need some helpful guidance. Thank you kindly.

I see this in the detailed logs...what is the dir_bin file? Is that something ad.exe creates?

Make sure you've the full Cataclysm client installed before you extract data from it. You can place the WoW Regeneration Tool inside your World of Warcraft folder, in order to obtain the full client.

If it fails after you are sure you have a full, working client, I have something that may help you out.
