Problems downloading ACID for mangos three

i cant seem to download ACID for Mangos three

the link on the guide is https://sd2-acid.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/sd2-acid/trunk/wotlk/3.0.8/ and i get acsses denied

However since the ACID team stopped supporting mangos, it may not work.

yea that did help, I'm finding more and more things that are not right whit mangos three as of right now, UDB stuff is not maching up whit the sql updates from mangos

You need: --> `12752_01_mangos_reputation_spillover_template.sql`

there is no sql file that goes to that oh and this is the udb version

think mangos three's wiki is severely outdated

addition:

so if i use the current udb whit its updates it gives me this for the db version info

required_12441_01_mangos_npc_spellclick_spells for that field witch mangos three has nothing for it

ok so i did some digging and apparently the current udb works whit Cmangos.. WTF

UDB stopped its support for MaNGOS quite a while ago. Hence it is recommended (if not even necessary) to use the official database, which comes along with MaNGOS Three.

well then id suggest dropping the instillation wiki for mangos three as its its not of any use keeping something so outdated on the site

Mangos Three will be completely revamped soon to match Mangos Zero, One and Two Rel20 releases

- These installs are now consistent and much much cleaner than the current system.

Rel 20 is still in Testing on those branches.

But yeah, the wiki needs changing.

i currently have a MaNGOS Three set up and built for RPM Based OS i wouldn't mind contributing to that how-to guide as it seemed to me i was forging new trails when i set up on my test server

If you want to write a guide, I am more than happy to add it to the Wiki. The wiki uses standard Markdown format.

you mention markdown im assuming that the wiki would be apart of github in some fashion would i be able to make a page and submit a PR? this might be a better solution then posting it here in the help and support forums as i had originally planned

I am hoping to soon provide a repository for people to update the repo. The Wiki itself is hosted by us, so any updates we would need to apply to the site wiki by us. But I agree a place where you can get the original files and place updates would be a bonus.

The DBDocs can be edited using a tool thats in testing, give me a nudge it you fancy testing that too.

consider this a nudge after the tutorial got uploaded to the wiki the markdown sort of broke not sure how/why but the tutorials for the mangos three install are located

The markdown processor is a variant of the git one and is not 100% compatible, i've adjusted your guide to fix the major markup discrepancies.
