  3. Yes you are right, I have seen a lot of people trying to develop "huge" patch and not be maintained, integrated, and leave the project. Of course I have seen why it never happens for good reasons, but I am afraid that no more big patch will never be developped because the probability to be integrated will be near 0% but it is my point of view as you sayed P.S. but it is also, I have no clues, how long it takes for a patch like this to be reviewed ?
  4. Check your conf files to point to the right databases. you should have an error in the logs files if you crash at the beginning
  5. Filling a table is quite easy, and you can have more than 50 as a limit. harcoding things inside a file is quick but less maintenable
  6. May I suggest to have a seperate table with exception id: 1/ it is easy to populate 2/ perhaps it is better for your query ( where not exist ? ) 3/ it avoids harcoding things in code 4/ it avoids an other files
  7. thanks , but I was looking more for a "key guy" who was pushing this patch
  8. fixed Sadly he doesnt write anymore Is their any git redepository suggested has reference for this "project " ? I am lost.
  9. New version pushed New ahbot.conf revision so update your. (and set the new settings as you wish because i defaulted "AuctionHouseBot.LockBox.Enabled" to 0) . I still have a slight problem (I put the parameter to to 1), I dont see any do I have bad luck ? Edit : It was bad luck it is working
  10. As soon as it is inside core, you can improve it, but at least it is part of mangos core. This patch which now is working, has been around for years now.
  11. Cyberium, I suspect now, you can go to "under review" and show this good work to the
  12. On my side, I think it is a good idea=> perhaps a more generic flag to other items which has got this kind of limitation ?
  13. A new small question for cyberium I upload a new psdb database (V 339), and now I am not able to see any box ((coffret) : item number 4632, 4633,...) for training the thief to pickup locks It was working before so I suspect it is again a link problem. My config : AuctionHouseBot.Items.Vendor = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Items.Loot = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Items.Misc = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Bind.No = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Bind.Pickup = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Bind.Equip = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Bind.Use = 1 AuctionHouseBot.Bind.Quest = 1 any ideas please ?
  14. I have encountered a slight little compil problem since a new core version. Am I the only one ?
  15. Yes you are right, every release everybody wants a date. Perhaps you can do an other way: my suggestion, let's say a released will be done in around 3 month for example: 1 February 2011. Put it somewhere on this web site as a key reference. Every month a review is done about the progress by Vladimir ( ? ), with a one world of comment (no check, beginning, some problems encountered,...) , and this date can be delayed in one way or another. No more questions at the end, isnt' it ?.
  16. Due to the fact you can parameter the AH, you can tune it to your config, you should have no performance issue
  17. It is the instruction "ahbot expire" which has made the use of a lot of memory (200 000 items), but now after 12 hours I have lose nearly 512 Ko so it is ok and now it is a gold mine with all the items we can found !!! I have nothing to say except thanks and great job
  18. I have a slight problem of memory, after 6 hours the mangosd.exe is using 2 361 621 K of memory, it is huged.
  19. I have tested the new AH, with new config files and after a "rebuild" 200 000 items (on average) => using mount as an example for neutral auction house - 682 items - 7 types (in French ) * "rène du tigre spectrale" * "fusée du néant x-51 extreme" * "fusée du néant x-51" * "blazing hippogryph" * "grand ours de bataille" * "metabecane" * "oeuf de poulet magique" => and I have no more which is kind of strange
  20. Wow! You are not affraid Fine, do you set itemspercycle for your config? Do you see performance improvement with last revision? unfortunately I have a good config so I am not a good example on this matter
