Hello everybody here you can find all the Clients from Vanilla till Cataclysm, all versions are a bit tweaked for easy use.

All there torrents have been uploaded by me and will stay online for a year. If you are having any problems please do not hesitate to ask.

I am trying to extract the data for the server. And I am seeing errors.

The client however starts okay and looks okay. However when I extract DBC files even there I got errors of missing files.

Are you sure this client is not optimized or missing data?

EDIT:

I will simply try to build the data anyways. If it works I will let you know that these errors when they occur can be ignored.

EDIT:

The server does boot up fine with the data collected from this client. Even though there were some errors. This torrent may be based on a re-designed client from Blizzard. At least that is what a friend of mine told me comparing it to his original Blizzard Client.

Oh man I looked for this post over the weekend, saw several hints of it but it must have been buried several pages deep. Any way to make this a sticky? Could have probably saved me 40gb of wasted bandwidth and at least 24 hours of cussing.

EDIT:

The server is now running again with the Torrents but there is a problem on the Connection, all torrents will be Uploading Data (so you can download) with more or less than 1MB/s per torrent. If there are any other guys that have already downloaded the Client (Full WoW) or the please Start your torrent so it can Seed for 2 days. You can always seed for more or less than 2 days.

Anyway if you think that this torrent doesn't reply on your downloads than let me know to delete all these torrents. And stop flaming, all i wanted to do, you selfish b****s, is to help this community and Newbies that doesn't have a client and make posts that they need one. If your download speed is shit, that is not my problem, go pay for a better one.

I for one am extremely grateful for what you have done, It's meant that I can actually do some development on versions prior the cata.

It's a shame some selfish people are spoiling the atmosphere here. Maybe once they've posted something useful to others, maybe then we can take them seriously.

Download this to the above extracted folder - http://getmangos.eu/madmax/WoWRegeneration.exe

Run this and it will download all clean / new files from Blizzard servers for 4.3.4 for 15595.

This will take some time.

Then place the attached realmlist.wtf file in /data/enGB/

And you should be set. As far as i know the wow.exe is already patched to work with Mangos.

You can set your language ingame and it will get the language files from the bnet.server

Would it be possible to have a zipped version? I think the file size could be made much smaller. (I only ask because my ISP allows a small amount of data a month).

The game client can only be compressed a few hundred megabytes, which is not worth the effort in my opinion. There are no good patterns to compress in client data.

No, text is populated from a Database such as UDB, YTDB, Project Silvermoon, etc. Pretty much all text is provided by the database.

Now that I'm back on the job, it's time to deal with a few neglected matters.

Since Blizz allows free downloads of their client and patches from third-party sources, I don't see any issues with also offering such shares here.

Fail, thanks for being so generous in helping members get a client. This is a great example of members taking part in making MaNGOS the community you want it to be.

For those who are trolling about the share, offer a better alternative or else stop whining. We're here to work together, not engage in useless babble over a share already reported as good.
