Question
tallah
Howdy folks,
Hoping to receive a little help here. I don't know how often people read/reply to this thread but better to ask than to not ask.
So I have spent the past few days setting up a ManGos Two server just for kicks and giggles and to hopefully learn some stuff. Once I followed all the directions on the github wiki for MagosTwo windows generic guide I was finally able to logon to my server, create an account etc.
While looking over some commands and instructions, I noticed this command .load scripts if I understand correctly everything in WoW is done in c++ scripts, and I did follow the guide to the letter, minues one or two steps that didn't have a troubleshooting guide, or just from figuring out on my own. When I look inside my sql database I see things like creature ai scripts, creature linking, creature this and that. Also upon loading into the server, it is literally dead empty, so I am wondering how to load the spawned npcs, quest givers, monsters etc. I did a silly little thing
since I assumed the world fles would have npcs in it, and then my server started crashing. I was using my defauly administrator account to do this, so now every time I load in that character my ManGosd crashes.
Also, upon booting my server I see things like
this list is really massive so for the sake of not making a big wall of text, i just grabbed a little snippit I can how ever load the full load if needed. from my own guess I can clearly see that this has something to do with scriptdev2 but my script dev sql database was empty, so i tinkered around with some of the sql scripts in my folders that I obtained from following the guide.
Help is greatly appreciated, and many thanks goes out to all
