Making your server public with dynamic IP?

So here we go yet another hair-taring night where I try to skip the middle man (in this case hamachi) and make my friends able to connect directly to my IP and skip the fuzz.

I remember a while back when I tried this I encountered a thread about dynamic IP's and hosting servers not going well together. Anyone know anything about this?

I have opened ports and done everything for this to work properly but nope. Gets stuck at Authenticating.

Not everyrouter can trigger the update of DynDNS. If it's to work with friends on temporary running server, you can download the DynDNS client for your computer which will perform this update automatically as well when the computer is running.
