[Mangos One] Server Build help

Hi GM community

I'm planning on setting up a server at home that will act primarily as a MangosOne server, as well as file storage and a Minecraft private server.

Any pointers on the type of hardware I should be looking at?

I should add here that running a mangos public server is illegal and you may be hunted down by blizzard/activision.

MC is by far going to be the biggest resource hog, especially when it comes to memory consumption. It'll honestly chomp through everything you throw at it and then some more. It really depends on what you're planning to host, if it's modded or classic, and how many people you are going to host for.

The MC things was honestly just a "nice to have" feature. The main reason I'm asking on the Mangos forum is that I'd love to be able to get TBC MangosOne running smoothly. Does that help?

Without hosting a MC server I'd reccomend 2gb of ram (1 for windows, 1 for server) and any quad core CPU (Using an old Q6600 on one server).

Absolutely, in essence them specs are overkilll, unless you go public and have 100's of players
