GM Fly command is not working

Hello

When I type ".gm fly on" ingame, it always says me

Incorrect value, use on or off, with a phrase that says me the syntax.

I can go on GM mode by typing .gm on. So I think my account level is the good one.

I am using the latest version of mangos zero I think, downloaded right here. ZeroDatabase is 2.0.18

Thanks if someone can help me to resolve this :)

This command doesn't work on zero because of missing opcode (lack of support in the client). In other words, even the retail GMs couldn't fly.

Oh ok. Some years ago with my first try by installing Mangos, this command worked.

Too bad it's not working anymore ;)

Thanks !

We speak about 2 different servers, so you definitely have to start over again, this time using mangosone sources. Don't forget to extract the maps and use the right database :)

That's what I thought !!! I did it one time I can do it again for mangos one :)

And about character transfer, is it the same problem because of the new server ? :)

although in theory it might be possible to manually update the character db from zero to one, I would not advise it.

I instead suggest just recreating the characters

It is possible to implement "Flying" via Server Side by simply copying the Swim code/movement flags and name it to Fly and make some minor alterations.

Though the server may not have the appropriate opcodes, you can make it work with the opcodes responsible for swimming to achieve the same effect.

I do not recommend this though on ANY server, as this is quite possibly extremely vulnerable via packet editing and easy to exploit via memory modification of the offsets associated with swim movement.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I spent a few hours tonight to rebuild a Mangos Two Server. It stills building the mmaps but I can play without it.

Everything seems to work fine and now I can fly ;)
