Inside mangosd.conf I had server port 8085 specified. I added port mapping 8085 to my home router now (it was missing). Yet, it still goes like before. Where else should I look? Talendrys
Which IP are you referring to ? Are you playing locally ? Tal'
iltuocapo
The server is on a cloud VPS, with a static IP (and mapped onto my domain name). I am playing from home, inside my home network. The gateway is the usual nat-router connecting me to the public ADSL network. Port mapping is properly configured on said router, it works perfectly with wow retail. Both realmd (3724) and mangosd (8085) conf-specified ports are mapped to my pc.
Talendrys
So, if you're playing remotelly, you don't need to open anything anywhere except maybe on the server side. Can you check from outside if your server is responding on port 8085 ? http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ Tal'

iltuocapo
I am looking around for some ideas. I reached into the zero_realm db. My realm's record (the only one in there) has two fields: address local address BOTH are set at the loopback address (127.0.0.1) Is this correct ?
