mangos zero Update MaNGOS Zero install to latest build

Hi.

Long time lurker first time poster.

I have successfully installed and run a MaNGOS Zero server on my home Ubuntu server  now for just about half a year.

 

I see there are beeing updates pushed quite often on the site but I cant find any information on how I update my installation to the latest build.

Is there any documentation on how to update an existing Mangos Zero install to the latest build of Mangos Zero?

 

I would appreciate any help

Just out of curiosity are you planning on using the installer script to update?

If you do, take backups of databases first as the script will wipe existing databases as far as i know. Then you can restore those and apply the updates via the separate database update script.

I have absolutly no clue on how to do the update.

is not very detailed and i do not really understand the process.

I installed the MaNGOS Zero using this guide:

So i do not really know what I need to do  to enter my Git shell and change folder to server or database or how I can tell if any other repos need updating.
