I think hes saying the logout/exit buttons on the client do nothing on an empty database, and when he uses a populated database there's some errors when trying to exit/logout, but in neither circumstance do those buttons work

Can you check the mangos log and console, I suspect a missing or incorrect opcode

ive used mangos 3 set it up on windows 7 computer set up the server ran it has no database install i run the client and log on fine

im in wow cataclysm i move around elglyn forest i click the icon on the bar to exit and log out it pops up i click the log out and nothng happens im still in the world does that action connect to server to do an action so i can log out or exit thanks

You could always try typing /camp, that command will log you out as long as everything is set up correctly core side. However, it does sound like a missing or incorrect opcode or packet handling.

If I understand you're problem correctly I think you may have something wrong on your end (as in bad client). I have run and am running a three server and have not seen this problem. If you can post any info from the server console though it may help us figure out what is happening.

i tried to re-install cataclysm client but before it tries to run it patches mop client tried cd install and a patch build still cant get it to client 4.4.3 my wowlk working great thanks for help

Change the patchlist in your realmlist.wtf file (Realmlist.wtf - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft) to localhost
