Ever have one of those days when you sit at your computer and with two key strokes your HDD does a swan dive into an empty pool from 70 feet up? Well I did last week. So until I am able to get a new HDD (maybe even a new PC) I will be using my girlfriends PC /shutter. I will be holding services for the HDD and all the data that was lost on it tomorrow between the hours of 7am-12pm EST. Please bring cake and milk.

I am using a HP Proliant Microserver with RAID HDDs for my data. I lost my data from 2002 until 2012 2 years ago - now I'm backing all my computer up on my server (Macs via time machine).

If one drive would fail now, I could just replace it and the Data/RAID would get repaired - so the data isn't lost.
