  1. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) Tested using Devouring Plague on dwarf with Stoneform up. Correctly immune. With DP on dwarf, Stoneform correctly removes the disease. This appears to be fixed but I will do a few more tests with actual mods to see if that really is the case.

    Distract

Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) Could not reproduce the random turning behavior. Mobs do sometimes get the Distract effect above their head but do not full point towards the center of the target wheel. Perhaps some adjusting could be done to make the turning more precise but this issue as stated above can be closed and moved to archive. Page 185 of WoW Master Guide, 2nd edition provided information for Distract.
  3. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) This issue still exists. I was unable to get the crates to spawn any mobs and most of the crates simply do nothing when clicked. Further testing still needed.
  4. According to the WoW Master Guide, 2nd edition page 209 (released for 1.12.1) this is not a bug and can be closed and moved to archive.
  5. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) Corruption (rank 6) appears to have since been corrected to 666 damage over 18 seconds at base, which matches the World of Warcraft Master Guide, 2nd edition. Spell power is now being applied to corruption at all ranks. I am not sure if the percentage of spell power applied is correct, but it is definitely getting a bonus now. This can be closed and moved to archive.
  6. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) This no longer happens and can be closed and sent to the archive.
  7. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) Gazz'uz (entry 3204 guid 6456) located in Skull Rock should have a level 14 voidwalker but currently does not summon it even on respawn. The voidwalker should aggro when you attack Gazz'uz and should not despawn if Gazz'uz is killed first. The voidwalker corpse does not drop loot or instantly despawn. Joana unedited vanilla leveling showing Joana down Gazz'uz: Wowhead with some comments and screenshots: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=3204/gazzuz#comments Oldest entry on gamepedia with quality data (30 November 2006): https://:wow.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Gazz%27uz&oldid=348542 Allakhazam entry for Gazz'uz with not much data: https://web.archive.org/web/20060924221655/http://wow.allakhazam.com:80/db/mob.html?wmob=3204
  8. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) As title. Entry 11520 GUID 48706 is likely treated as a demon in the database even though he is labeled as humanoid in game. Not all bosses were immune to CC effects. Video from 2006 clearly showing a priest using Mind Control on him. Video contains music under copyright so must be viewed on youtube: Taragamen The Hungerer Mind Controlled @ 44 seconds See main description and comments: http://www.wowhead.com/npc=11520/taragaman-the-hungerer#comments
  9. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) Similar to the Felweaver Scornn issue this requires only a simple edit of creature_template.sql to adjust the rank of Captain Flat Tusk (entry 5824 guid 12218). In this case, the mob is currently rank 1 and should be adjusted to rank 2. Source spam below: Some useful comments even from 2006-2009 (claims rare elite & faster run speed than players): http://www.wowhead.com/npc=5824/captain-flat-tusk#comments Earliest edit that shows rare elite status: https://wow.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Captain_Flat_Tusk&oldid=359378 Earliest video found showing Captain Flat Tusk: Another video just a month after the first showing the captain:
  10. I tested a little more and it turns out that if another player is auto-attacking and then the priest uses Power Word: Shield, the attacking player will also stop their attack. This bug seems to be related to auto-attacks in general, and perhaps the shield is causing the attacker to think there is an evade happening? I changed the title to reflect the new information.
  11. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) Felweaver Scornn in Skull Rock - Durotar, entry ID 5822, GUID 12209 is currently only a rare mob but should be a rare elite mob with the stats and difficulty to match. Just go to Skull Rock and he will be on the ledge looking over the middle room with his voidwalker. To fix, adjust Felweaver Scornn's "Rank" modifier in creature_template.sql from 4 to 2. Second paragraph and image: "Like elite mobs, rare mobs have a dragon around their portrait; however, unlike elites, this dragon icon is silver and lacks a wing on the side. They can also be elite, in which case the wing is present. Rare mobs are frequently mis-called "rare elites", regardless of whether or not they are elite. " https://wow.gamepedia.com/Rare_mob Oldest version of that page that mentions the existence of elite rares (8 July 2006): https://wow.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Rare_mob&oldid=181672 Allakhazam rare mob list - Felweaver Scornn is not on it a month after my next link: https://web.archive.org/web/20060822002753/http://wow.allakhazam.com:80/dyn/mobs/rare.html Allakhazam mob list for Durotar - CTRL+F Felweaver Scornn - listed as rare: https://web.archive.org/web/20060721043200/http://wow.allakhazam.com:80/dyn/mobs/zone35.html Now, click on the link for Felweaver Scornn or the link below - just under his name at the top "Level 11 (Elite) Humanoid" - also note comments at bottom claiming he is "extremely difficult": https://web.archive.org/web/20060718111717/http://wow.allakhazam.com:80/db/mob.html?wmob=5822 Supporting this we can look at the oldest entry for Felweaver Scornn on Gamepedia (21 November 2006) which claims he is a rare elite mob: https://wow.gamepedia.com/index.php?title=Felweaver_Scornn&oldid=335108 And the even the most recent version of his page still states he is rare elite as of current retail: https://wow.gamepedia.com/Felweaver_Scornn Additional resources: See earliest comment from 2008 with text crossed out "A very tough rare elite inside the cave of Skull Rock. You probably won't be able to solo this." http://www.wowhead.com/npc=5822/felweaver-scornn#comments Earliest video I could find from 2009 showing Felweaver Scornn with correct portrait: Another video from 2010 again showing Felweaver Scornn with correct portrait:
  12. Tested on Covenant M0 (21.14.85) A pet will stop attacking the target if there is an absorb effect on it. This absorb shield buff can be used after a pet starts attacking to make it drop aggro in 1-4 attacks usually. Pet attacking in melee or casting does not matter. I have not tested with a hunter yet. To reproduce, have 1 horde and 1 alliance character or duel. Have one character be a priest and another be a warlock. Have the pet attack the priest in melee or with a spell. Now on the priest, cast Power Word: Shield. The pet will stop attacking within 4 attacks usually. The pet will sometimes keep attacking normally if you send it to attack again while the shield buff is still active. But if the priest drops the buffs and adds them again the pet will once more drop aggro.
  13. Unable to reproduce this on M0 (21.14.85) Tested on Covenant with male and female undead and orc characters. Characters were allowed to time out into AFK and the AFK flag was set with /afk. Neither gave the "You don't know that language." message. @ioexception What class/level/gender were you? I will try testing again with a more specific toon.
  14. Unable to reproduce on M0 (21.14.85) Tested on npcs and on player owned minions using all ranks of SWP. Appears to be fixed
  15. Unable to reproduce on M0 (21.14.85) Tested all races Appears to be fixed
  16. Unable to reproduce this on M0 (21.14.85) Tested normal and GM characters. Tested using /cast Battle Shout (Rank #) as well as trying to stack ranks by learning from a trainer and casting a new rank with a lower rank active. Appears to be working as intended.
