Weird issue, camera and actual placement
Xenithar commented on Aenra's bug in Archived Reports (Zero)(Resolved issues)
This is a client-side bug. Mac users had it even worse in 1.12 and would often fall off transports (zeppelins, ships) when zoning and die. Collision-detection is handled by the client. -
Improved Berserker Rage tooltip
Xenithar commented on Aenra's bug in Archived Reports (Zero)(Resolved issues)
Tooltip problems are game client bugs. We cannot fix these. -
Missing item tooltip information

Enchant Cloak: Stealth description
Xenithar commented on Aenra's bug in Archived Reports (Zero)(Resolved issues)
If it is tooltip-related, it is a client-side issue. In other words, a bug in the 1.12 game client. We cannot fix all of these tool-tip issues without hacking the client, which is illegal and will not be done. -
Fozruk is there. He starts between Hammerfall and Refuge. Check in that area. I always find him there since mobs do not wander around in unloaded grids.
-
Hmm, none of the druids (Horde or Alliance) can do this on my end. The item is green and clickable, but the talent won't take.

The Hero of The Day crashes the client... The Christmas quest, "The Hero of The Day" causes the client to literally crash and bring up the bug report tool. As soon as you click on the quest your client will crash. You don't even get a chance to read the quest text. No clue why. This is the ONLY quest I have found that does this, and it happens every time, without a single miss.

Mining nodes 'difficulty' wrong
Xenithar commented on Aenra's bug in Archived Reports (Zero)(Resolved issues)
Is this on covenant? I do not have this issue on my server. Everything goes gray as expected. I am not 300 yet and tin has been gray for ages. Also, I do not believe you're playing on an R21 server unless you've built it yourself. Covenant, to my knowledge, is R20. Posting tickets as R21 is incorrect unless you know for a fact you're on an R21 server. You may be able to find out with ".server info" depending on how access is configured. -
This is not a server bug. This is a script bug. The sequence must not exist in SD2 or Eluna, so they do not move. Also, without the grid loaded (ie: no players around) they will not load and move. Can an admin move this to the zero scripts section? I cannot get it to work on my end. It just has a blank drop-down when I try to move the ticket.

What I am saying is that macros are not sent to the server. They're processed in your game client. The server only processes the commands your client sends based on your macros. Also, castsequence did not exist in vanilla WoW. If you google for castsequence and "wow vanilla" you will see several posts by players on Feenix and other Zero servers with the same issue because, as they state, it did not exist in vanilla. The client does not understand it so it cannot process it. A few links are below for reference. Proof it was added in 2.0.1: http://www.wow-one.com/forum/topic/10463-some-help-wanted-with-supermacro-addon/page__view__findpost__p__70581 Others working very hard to try to make one for vanilla: http://www.wow-one.com/forum/topic/74881-castsequence-macro/page__view__findpost__p__580422 More proof it does not work in 1.12: http://vanillagaming.org/forum/index.php?topic=8805.0 This is not a bug, this is your client not having the macro "castsequence" in it. To get that macro to work you must be running 2.0.1 or newer. Closing as "not a bug".

Recent build? Mine is a week old or more due to testing a patch I am working on. I cannot accept the talent no matter what. I can spend the points anywhere but there. Also, R19 or R20?
-
Cannot accept talent "Faerie Fire (Feral)"... The talent cannot be used. In other words, I dinged 31 and attempted to put a point into it. It would not. I noted that "Requires bear, cat, or dire bear form" was red, so I changed into cat form. Now it is white, but I still cannot put my point into it. I tried bear form also, still no go. So currently it is impossible to get the feral version of faerie fire without GM commands.

I did not use complex macros in 1.12 and really did not get into them until 3.x so I cannot offer guidance here. My most complex macro was prior to 1.12.
/jump /logout
Before 1.10 or 1.11 that macro caused your player to jump up and then display the logout dialog, causing your player to stand in the air where he jumped. Cancel the logout dialog and repeat. You could get to ALL KINDS of places with that. *EDIT* Wait, macros are client-side. The server should not affect your macros. Perhaps the complex macros you are trying to use won't work in vanilla?

I believe sounds were added in BC. I say this because I seem to recall the Zulian tiger being special because it roared. I do not remember kodos having sounds in 1.12. Can you find video proof of this from 1.12? How about anything from 1.12 stating mounts had sounds?
-
I see what you're saying, but I am unable to remember if that is correct behaviour back in 1.12. I know in Lich King and newer everything goes really dark, but I seem to remember this from some point. Can you find any videos or pictures from 1.12 on official servers to compare to? I will be looking for that info myself now.

We appreciate the ticket, but we already know about this. Do a quick search before posting. This is a duplicate of the ticket below. 666 Yes, really. It is a duplicate of ticket 666...

I suggest Irfanview for Windows. Just grab it and the plugins and it can open, edit, and convert ANY image format in seconds. If you're a photo buff, check out GIMP. It runs on all major platforms and is what Adobe wishes Photoshop was. Now from what you tell me I probably do not need a screenshot. Since you say it works in one spot and not another, that does seem odd. I do not know what Max is running on Covenant, so maybe he will chime in. I run R20 since it is the next release and the one I choose to work on. I Believe he is running R20 also, but I may be wrong. If he is running R21 it may be an issue with R21 which I cannot help with since I am not familiar with it, yet. Max?

...even after death! I am on a level 22 NE druid going through the quests in their areas right now and found a strange bug. While fighting these mobs, you can be infected with a disease that lasts for three seconds and reduces a stat by 10. However, once they're dead and looted, if you stand on the corpse you are continuously afflicted with the diseases until you move off of the corpse. This should not happen. My initial guess here is that an aura isn't being removed when the mob dies.

Alright, this does not appear to be the same as the last fix. In fact, I am having trouble locating all of this. I am assuming it is in db_script_string, but I do not see a reference to the quest number. Am I misunderstanding this table? How is it tied into the quest so I can locate the strings and change the emote types?

This does not happen on my server. Since I have a fever and have been home today I played with my mom for a while, who is a priest. She does not seem to have the issue you are describing. She was even turned into a pig by one of those machines and that went shadowform, mounted her horse, and then it was a shadow piggy on a shadow horse. Kind of amusing. You have posted several graphics-related issues which I believe may be client-side. Graphics are rendered on your end. I am fairly positive that your issues are client-side. Could you paste a screenshot of your video options? I remember that with certain nVidia cards and a bunch of ATI cards, one or two options caused oddities. I want to say it was "Smooth Shading" or "Smooth Mouse", but I forget. I actually experienced the issue on a GTX460, but it does not affect the GTX550Ti's I have in my matched WoW systems. These are two Dell XPS400's I grabbed, popped in Pentium D 960's, maxed out at 4GB of RAM, and threw in Creative X-Fi cards. These systems are primarily for WoW and some older games, and do not have the issues you mention. Now the second one USED to have an nVidia 8600 in it, and I had to disable the smooth shading or everything looked funny.

I seem to recall guards dropping gold and such, and I believe normal NPCs did also. However, it should flag you.
-
You know you may be right. Maybe the walk was before I hit 40. I seem to recall mounting up and going out there, but I cannot recall if it was pre or post-TBC. We're talking what, nine or ten years ago? I sure wasn't keeping notes!
-
I was using the shaman spell. I know they both use the same effect, but perhaps the potion would not dispel when mounting? Also, was this in 1.12? I am positive it was because 60 was max and we were maxed. We just didn't have the epic gear and all.
-
Let's see what others say also. This may have been a potion or something. I have been known to be wrong, but I do remember the long walk to my corpse in fatigue water, TWICE. Still, it was cool out there. They had pirates and goblins on the islands and the oil-rig between them. We even found a rare-spawn on the southern-most island, but I forget its name.

That would be an interface bug, ie: Blizzard bug in the client. I remember mentioning this about other tooltips WAY back a few years and remember that response. I believe mine was on the topic of some tooltips not showing the correct figures when buffed through talents, but I was told it was something on the client and not the server, so we cannot change it. Somebody correct me if I am wrong here.
