Get errors when trying to complile the Rel20

hi im trying to complie this server files but i get error's not sure why i says that some file are nott there kinda.

1) Did you clone the Rel20 with submodules ? git clone -b Rel20 --recursive https://github.com/MangosZero/server

2) Are you trying to build it in a directory where a live server resides ?

And for the second question ? Are you building the sources in a directory where you actually run another compiled version ?

If yes, files may be already open for these process, try to build it in another directory or to stop your processes.

this is my first time trying to complite the new servers only get old stuff running, aka 2-5 years old stuff

What is your setup ? I see you're using Visual Studio (but not a recent one). Did you create a clean new folder to clone this repo ?

i created a new folder and im useing VC 2010 ultimate

Can you check in debug mode if it produces the same output ?

Update your windows SP.

Or switch to use VS2013.

If you search the COFF error, you will find a stackoverflow topic about this.

This is not a Windows 7 issue. Check NTFS permissions. Your errors are due to not being able to open files for reading.

The linker is unable to open those files for reading. That is your issue. It may be permissions.

Issue has been looked into, this was an issue with the VS2010 build files. a proposed fix has been pushed to the Rel20 branch. Please try to re-clone and compile

Antz updated the 2010 VS earlier, should be ok now if you can try cloning and retrying.

Was it looking for those files in the wrong locations? Curious because it couldn't find the file or open it if it was found.

hi all ok i ahve retryd now and it sill get error think its the some one.

i did try to do whit whit VC2013 done it worked fine. BUT i whould be happy if i can aviod useing it my HDD don't like it i only get 5 GB left after this 9 GB install. so plz i hope i don't need to use it heheh here it the log file:

x64 build isn't working atm, right? Everytime I try to compile on x64 the compile breaks with thousands of erros...I'm trying now debug and x32 (atm it looks good). When this is done successfully I'll try again on x64 and post the log. :3

Added debug.txt (attachments) ... Before change to Rel19 everything works fine...with Rel19 compile breaks. I don't know what just happen'd! Clean cloned from source (with --recursive command) but when I try to compile BuildEverything_VC120.sln and also mangosdVC120.sln booth ends in same error.

Your not cloning the repos in recursive.

As I already said I used "git clone -b Rel19 --recursive https://github.com/mangosone/server" (found this on page 1 in this thread oh and ofc without " ") to clone the mangosone source code.
