  1. Well, compare to other forks this all-in-one installer is just the greatest thing! Yep, at the end there are 3 folders: src (not needed anymore after install), bin with executables, etc with configs (and resources). Pretty simple, same as usual linux-way. There was one odd thing iduring latest install, that etc folder not on the same level as bin and src. But I just moved it. + Yo need to set up right relative path to extracted files (aka DataDir in .conf)

  3. This is still bugged. The root of the issue is : the moment you learn next rank from trainer, the talent point drops from talent tree (it looks 0/1 rank that is awaliable for learning). However you can't spend an extra point there. sorry for longvid again but it illustrates it well. Other talents with similar system that I encountered before (such as Aimed shot, Pyroblast, Blasting wave works pretty well). This one is surely bugged a little. farie_fire_talent.mp4
  4. Well, described issue is sitll exists (look at vid_1 and vid_2: Fluying a zeppelin. Pet not aware of zeppelin existance and trying to follow my xy on tyhe ground level. After travelling pet is not despawned (actually it spawned at the beginning of the tirisfal map in the ocean according to minimap and idk what' next happened with him (her, actually). As a workaround player could dismiss the pet and then call him/her again. But this issue is not about the topic. What can I say about pet despawn at range during travelling? I encountered two types of behaviour (both could be reprodused better when you are fast enough (aka using mount)). The pet will follow you with the nearly same speed. If you aggro a mob and continue running: 1. Pet will make a pair-or-so attacks to the mob then continues following a player, catching him up pretty fast. 2. Pet will stuck in combat and if you run quite far it will despawn. Idk how it should be, but variant 2 proofs TS wrong. In my view, the described issue not matching the title. Described issue is confirmed. Topic statement maybe another issue according to my thoughts and experience of travelling alongside pet simply through the map, but seems not. pets_map_1.mp4 pets_map_2.mp4

  6. I can confirm the issue. Being attacked not putting mobs out of sleep. DoT doesn't apply. Also playing up with gm commands and skills, there are interesting thing: each level of Wyvern Sting skill has second-mirrored Wyvern Sting), that is actually DoT itself (instant 50006 yards, according to db), that Do damage, even now. So I suppose one should be swapped for another after sleep breaks.   8. Looking through Player.cpp now the only place where such construction appears "m_regenTimer != 0" is around 2162 line. In my opinion dudu now regens mana while in bear form. But to be sure there is still needed a feedback (cause I cannot orient inside this huge .cpp). You could think of this comment like a bump. server branch master 21.14 db_struct rel21_16_040
  9. Hehe, Blizz seems were planning to make a dungeon or whatever with this place 😃 Seems like that. This quest, The Den quest, Elites, Named Elites inside, Named Rare Elites I suppose because of that vanilla have such "rudiments" and u can encounter them from time to time. So, I suppose next statements are true/should be done such way: 1) Yes, the banner was never a requirement to complete the quest. (Seems like it's official). So it's like a toy (maybe it was planned to do something else but it never was implemented). 2) I think it is right way to leave the banner in player's inventory (and some database comments says that it is true but I'm not sure). What if somebody would like to return in this weird place that is far from horde's flight nodes and place this thing again as a proclamation of war? (P.S.: btw aside this quest there are others in vanilla that leaves some quest-related stuff in players inventory (maybe part of them is mangos minor "bugs" but I suppose most of them are official) such as letters, runes or so. Can't give you any detailed info but from time to time scanning inventory I can't remember what is this thing and what it is doing in my inv? Then google says that it is a part of a quest that I've done 10-15 lvls ago) 😃 So, why not to leave this flag inside inventory too? At least it is a usable "toy". This would be blizzlike, I think
  10. db_structure: rel21_16_39 Well, this bug should be attended as Minor of even cosmetics. Quest itself can be completed. But there are some blizzard weirdness (and there are problems with them). Horde Presence (quest=3514) task is to kill Rynthariel the Keymaster (npc=8518). Nothing more. (That's why it could be done). But questgiver also gives a player Kadrak's Flag (item=10622) that could be used inside The Talon Den (placing a big horde banner for a minute). This is even not a part of a quest itself, and this item will stay in inventory forever if not destroyed. According to wowhead screenshot (attached) the flag at least should be placeble near the entrance on a platform (at least. idk if it should be placeble all way through The Talon Den). For now it is cannot be placed "anywhere" (tested in different rooms of The Talon Den and this platform also). The message says: "Required Talon Den" That is all. kadrak_flag.mp4
  11. db_structure: Rel21_16_36 There is an object in EPL, that appears after a player tooks control under Northpass Tower: Lordaeron Shrine (object=181682 or object=181955 (?- both from wowhead and other dbs (clarification needed))). It is supposed to provide a buff Lordaeron's Blessing (spell=30238), that gives 5% hp buff in EPL + also inside Stratholme and Scholomance. For now if you try to use an object only phrase "Another action in progress" appears. Checked: Quantity of towers held not affects the result (and suppesed to internet -- should not).   13. db_structure: rel21_16_37 Druid flight masters at Moonglade doesn't have an option to provide a flight for druid players. It seems to be true for both fractions (Horde and Alliance). Attached screenshots as a proof. Can't find info in details about prerequisites for using them (except for being a druid ofc). But they at least should be usable during first druid class quest chain to get the Bear form. No special actions connected with flightmasters. It is stated in guides (in context) that druids just can flight away to their capitals or use heartstone for timesaving. All they have is just a common NPC text.
  14. db_structure: rel21_16_37 Tested on: Raw Sagefish (id=21071) Smoked Sagefish (id=21072) Raw Greater Sagefigh (id=21153) Sagefish Delight (id=21217) There is a problem with all of them. No health restored. They should restore players health and mana (stated in description), but they provide only mana restore buff "Brain food" according to the buff's description (I tested capabilities to restore health the same time (after falling for example in the vid -- no health restored)).   15. db_ver: rel21_16_037 Well, whole the problem is described in the title. There are Vilebranch Shadowcasters. Every time you get in combat with one of them (means at the start of combat, not during) he starts to cast (all) 2 his abilities (Shadow bolt + Shrink) at the same time. I can't find any info provided about how he actually should cast. But simultaneous cast of 2 spells seems rather illegal. Attached a screenshout as a proof
  16. db_structure: 21_16_037 There is a problem with enchanting rods. Each major craftable rod should "inherit" the possibilities of lesser ones. That gives an opportunity to have only 1 rod in inventory (with you) not causing shortage of bag space. This rods ability is stated in description flavor text. But for now it is broken. For an opportunity to chant something lesser levels you should have whole collection of chanting rods with you. I attached the vid to demonstrate the behaviour. enchanting.mp4
  17. All right. The problem with NPC Riggle Bassbait seems to be easier than i thought. Idk how much time Announce NPC (2 actually, for Orgrimmar and Ironforge) should be standing in capitals, but suppose 240 min is pretty enough for the beginning (I don't even know if it is working at all for now. Needed to be tested). This event should be held the day before (Saturday). Than there are another issue. Schools of tastyfish (gameobject id=180248 entries) spawn time should be reduced from 180 mins to 120 mins to suit 2-4pm gap (yes, fishing for 2 hours, NPC stays for 3 hours as it stated to be in vanilla): MariaDB [zero_world]> update gameobject set spawntimesecs=120 where id=180248; Thats what I've learn about Riggle and event timers. Still there is a problem with reward for Apprentice Angler figh turn-in quest (no money given as a reward).

I suppose ithe answer is buried somewhere in timing.   19. Mangos Zero server: 21.14 db structure: Rel21_16_35 Bunch of zones/subzones (sorry, I can't provide the full list) are out of fish (loot). It seems like such zones have not any droptables generated. I attached vid to describe the process (say hello to Toothy also!) (you could start from 25+sec, sorry). It differs from the situation when you are not skilled enough (in such cases player receive "Your figh got away!" message. (Also differs from "out of time" or slowpoke/sleepy noin-reaction. In such cases player do receive "No fish are hooked" message). Can't provide info from relevant classic as it should be, but this situation seems to be not right. Also I tried to find relevant classic fish_db (at least generated with fishinfo2 or FishingBuddy but I'm not succeed)). At least 3 zones approved to be "out of stock" (for test purposes maybe): 1. Filmed Swampland: Misty Reed Strand 2. Moonglade: Lake Elune'Ara 3. Feralas: Verdantis River fishing.mp4

Mangos Zero Server ver: 21.14 DB Structure ver: 21_16_35 There are some problems noticed with Strangleton Vale Extravaganza event: Event itself started at 10.00 pm on Sunday Server Time (not as it supposed to be from 2 till 4 pm (or so)). What do I mean started: 1. Spawned event fish schools (School of Tastyfish) -- OK. I could fish Tastyfish out of it properly. 2 Spawned Fishbot 5000 NPC (id=15079) for rare fish exchange (yes he porovided those quests (ids=8221; 8224; 8225) (but I can't be sure about proper revards cause I'm not a lucky man)) 3 Spawned Jang NPC (id=15078) for repeatable fish exchange quest Apprentice Angler (id=8194). Reward is broken cause I don't get any money for fish turn-ins. 4. The most upsetting part: NPC Riggle Bassbait (id=15077) that provides quest Master Angler (id=8193) seems to be absent. I couldn't find him all around Booty Bay (but it shoiuld be close to other event NPCs). Maybe that's because of broken time and he spawns 2-4 pm. I can't approve. Both NPC and quest are present in DB.
  21. Maybe there are too many nodes at Kalimdor, but i wanted to submit something quite opposite. Through game experience i can say that there are too low nodes in Eastern Kingdoms. Played quite long, running through this locations. ALL nodes that i found there you may see at screens. (So, pictures from Kalimdor just for comparison). Really doesnt seems work well. + Most of the Kalimdor nodes spawns regularry at the same places (~5-10 mins maybe). And what can i see in Hilsbrad (for example): ~4-6 nodes on tha map, one of them was discovered near Taren Mill at the third day only (means third day running nearby while questing etc.). I wish i could discribe it more carefully, but my english not quite well.
  22. need help to understand and solve the problem Hello, im using Rev.20 version of Mangos Zero server. It seems that something wrong is going on with ore spawns in Eastern Kingdoms. Just loot at screens that i've made. I haven't played retail version. But really, i dont think there was such difference. What should I do to solve this problem?
